Those who have been baptized are set apart to represent Christ and His engagement in this world. We embody His forgiveness and redemptive love, and struggle alongside the poor, oppressed, lonely, and outcast.
Gloria Dei believes that core to our identity is our faithful service to our neighbor, both locally and internationally.
We invite you to join us as we serve Christ by serving our neighbor.
2nd & 4th Thursdays of the month
1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Partnering with Western U.P. Food Bank, we are able to purchase $10 worth of food for only $1 for our food pantry and serve over 130 families each month.
Want to be involved? Contact the Faith in Action Team or the church office.
Tuesdays
Noon – 4 pm
We have a dedicated group of ladies who make quilts for Lutheran World Relief and a few local organizations. In total, they produce over 130 quilts every year. You’re invited to stop by and join in anytime.
We also offer quilts to go for those who would like to sew at home.
Want to be involved? Contact the church office.
In addition to our congregation Council, we have different teams that oversee the ministry of Gloria Dei.
In 1994, we entered into a companionship relationship with Temeke Lutheran Church in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
These are organizations in (and some outside) our local community that we partner with to further God’s love in the world.
